Checking Your Own Label: Why We Could Not Confirm AlkaMelt's Dosing
The brand states that every ingredient and its amount per serving is printed on the Supplement Facts label included with each bottle.
We were not able to independently verify these figures from the pages we reviewed, which is a genuinely different situation from a brand that discloses nothing at all.
What the brand states
AlkaMelt's own materials are specific: 'Every ingredient is listed on the Supplement Facts label,' with amounts per serving included. This is a meaningfully different claim than brands that simply list ingredient names with no promise of amounts anywhere.
Why we still flag it as unconfirmed
We compile our research from what is publicly available on a brand's own pages. When specific numbers are described as being on a physical label rather than published online, we cannot verify them ourselves without the product in hand. This is different from concluding the brand is hiding something — it simply means the verification step falls to you, the buyer, once your bottle arrives.
What to do when your bottle arrives
Read the Supplement Facts panel immediately. Confirm each of the six ingredients is listed with a specific amount, not folded into an unlabelled blend.
Compare against what is described online. The ingredient names and general roles should match what the brand's own website describes.
Keep a photo of the label. This is useful both for your own reference and if you ever need to discuss the product with your doctor.
How this differs from an undisclosed proprietary blend
A brand using an undisclosed proprietary blend structurally cannot tell you individual amounts, because the ingredients are combined into one listed weight. AlkaMelt's stated structure — individual amounts on the label — is a better starting point, even though we could not verify it ourselves from the website alone.
Applying this to AlkaMelt
AlkaMelt names all six ingredients individually and states specific amounts appear on the physical label. Confirm this directly on your own bottle rather than relying on our research or the brand's website alone.
